A "Redo-I-Do" We'll Never Forget
July 18th, 2025 — the sun was shining, the laughter was contagious, and Jacob and Collin's wedding at Deer Run Winery was the kind of day that sticks with you. The kind that reminds you love is supposed to feel easy, joyful, and totally your own.
From the first dance to the last bite of dessert, everything about their day felt perfectly them — heartfelt, a little rowdy, and absolutely full of meaning.

Their Story
Jacob and Collin first contacted our planner Abbie in September 2024 — before they were even engaged! Long-distance and living between Canada and New York, they were already dreaming up their 2025 wedding and wanted to get started early. After booking with Partyman in October, they popped the champagne (and the question) and celebrated their engagement together.
Their story unfolded across borders, road trips, and shared playlists — a love that found its rhythm in the in-between moments. They eloped privately in early 2025, then gathered everyone they love for a "redo-I-do" back home that summer. The celebration took place at Deer Run Winery, set amid the hills above Conesus Lake, right where Collin's family has spent summers since the 1950s.
The Vision & Flavor
Jacob and Collin's vision was simple: create a day that felt like them.
Think cottage core charm meets foraged library romance — Partyman's vintage plates, layered textures, soft florals, and an atmosphere that made everyone feel welcome. Each reception table was named after a place they've traveled together, a little nod to their favorite destinations and the people who make those memories matter.
Their guests enjoyed their cocktail hour with Hand-Passed Chicken and Waffle Cones, Boom Boom Shrimp, with the Enhanced Tuscan Display, of course decorated with the cottage core flair on the Nesting Tables!
Our culinary team loved the collaboration with them to bring their menu to life — pulling inspiration from the meals they've shared around the world. And because it who they are, they had a surprise twist for the guests, or Rochester classic late-night Garbage Plate Station, which fit right in on the Nesting Tables and even somehow flowed with the cottagecore vibe. (It's a magic only Partyman can pull off.)
And let's not forget the Ice Cream Truck from Fairport Ice Cream Factory that creates the sweetest dessert moment for every summer wedding.
Behind the Scenes
While every couple that books with us becomes part of the Partyman Family and is cherished greatly, every once in a while, a connection forms unlike any other between the planning team and a couple.
Even our Production Coordinator, Jolene, met the couple during our 2025 Spring Tasting, and couldn't help but gush and turn into the couple's personal hype girl:
"A love like Collin and Jacob's is infectious! Just like a good book and a glass of wine, these two are the perfect pairing."
– Jolene Brugaletta
By the time the wedding rolled around, it didn't feel like work or a contracted service — it felt like a reunion. And even after the big day, Jacob and Collin still check in, planning trips back to New York just to visit their "Partyman girls." Those continued friendships are what make this work so meaningful.
While Abbie guided the planning journey, Rylee led the on-site execution — the kind of lead that balances event timelines with an upbeat attitude and sweet smile.
"They were so pleased with our work," Rylee shared. "They kept complimenting how much they loved the food and service. Jacob was on top of the world — he said everything went exactly how he imagined it, which made me so happy to hear."
From coordinating timing with the DJ to chatting with the grooms' parents, Rylee made sure every moment flowed effortlessly. "Everyone just seemed so happy," she added — and that feeling carried through the entire night.
The team's seamless rhythm matched the energy of the couple themselves: genuine, grateful, and overflowing with joy.
The Celebration
It was one of those nights where everything just worked — the food, the music, the love — because everyone there was completely wrapped up in celebrating something real.

Words We Will Cherish Forever.
Client Testimonial.
"I do not think any words can truly express the way Partyman changed our wedding for the better. My husband's family was familiar with their game and reputation for amazing things; I was not.
Abbie and Jolene and all of the women who stepped in to make our I do redo magical crafted a memorable experience. From the phenomenal menu personalized to dishes Collin and I have shared during our relationship; help with elevated decor to enhance our venue and meet my wildest expectations and make dreams come true; and to be personable on top of that! Thank you is not a good enough word to use to describe the relationship forged between our marriage and the crew involved in our wedding day.
My family came all the way from Toronto and Niagara Falls in Canada to good old Conesus, a hotspot for husband's relatives since the 50s, and they never complained about the drive… they instead kept focusing on the food: the appetizers (always choose the chicken waffle cones), the main courses (no wrong choice made here); the decor (I would never have been able to make cottage core library happen by myself); and the staff (even if I missed Jolene).
Myself and my husband ate leftovers for days, were gifted a beautiful coffee grind painting of us, and will see our Partyman girls for a dinner very soon. Thank you (can there please be a better word!)."
