Job Objective

Building genuine relationships with clients through the entire planning process of their event.

Further understand the process of producing events at Partyman, including all ‘front of house’  and ‘back of house’ operations. Through leadership set the example of your commitment to quality, exceptional service and hospitality excellence while contributing in anyway possible to the success of the team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Implement new concepts and ideas within the organization that will assist in the operations, efficiency, and overall customer experience.

Handle inbound inquiries, answering client questions and booking events.

Responding directly to client questions.

Meeting with and attending site visits with clients.

Upselling clients to create more memorable events.

Creating & designing event layouts.

Print finalization for production meetings and directors.

Confirming accuracy and thoroughness of event binders for upcoming events.

Analysis of post event information, including client follow ups and corrections.

Organize and execute pre-event setup at venues.

Lead events with confidence.

Assist with training new hires.

Assisting Senior Event Planner in daily operations, as well as providing assistance and guidance to Event Producers.

Researching and assisting in execution of design and decor elements.

Assist in all areas including hiring, food concepts and training.

Training new Event Producers.

 

Occasional other duties will include:

Gathering, bartending, serving, dishes, minor kitchen prep, cleaning, rental setup and breakdown

 

Schedule Requirements

Schedule may fluctuate seasonally and based on event bookings.

Weekend availability is a must.

Full time hours up to 50+ during May-November in “peak season” with a goal 40 hours.

Off peak season December – April approximately 40 hours.


Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year experience as a catering sales associate or planning events within the off premises catering industry.
